Preview: Our Main Product
At Everybility, our mission is to provide a wide range of diverse play therapy tools that help therapists, teachers, and caregivers support children in reaching meaningful goals. While we’re building a growing catalog of tools, our featured product, and the foundation of Everybility, is our customizable Board Game/App hybrid.
This game is designed to be completely personalized, down to the very name of the game itself. We intentionally left the naming open to players, because we believe ownership makes play more powerful. For example: if your family decides to call it “Sarah’s World” in honor of your child, Sarah, she experiences the joy of having a game named and built around her. Teachers can name the game after a class theme, and therapists can collaborate with groups of children to decide on a title that resonates with them. The name can be changed at any time, making every play session unique and engaging. For those who prefer a head start, we also provide suggested names to choose from.
Before play begins, the facilitator (the adult running the game) can customize the experience in the companion app. You can enter individualized programs or tasks for each child participating. During the game, the app automatically tracks turns and displays only the prompts, visuals, or goals linked to that specific child. These can range from simple social prompts like “Wave to a friend!” or “Do you prefer the sun or the rain?” to skill-building tasks such as labeling pictures, practicing coping strategies, or reinforcing classroom goals.
The companion app also includes built-in data tracking, allowing facilitators to monitor each child’s progress on specific goals and programs over time. This makes it easy to see patterns, celebrate successes, and adjust interventions as children grow, turning every play session into both a fun experience and a measurable step forward.
The result: a tool with limitless potential to empower every ability.
Why Play Therapy Works
Research consistently shows that play is a child’s natural language, and toys are their words. Play therapy creates a safe space for children to explore emotions, practice problem-solving, and build communication skills. Studies have found that play-based interventions can improve emotional intelligence, social interaction, self-regulation, and cognitive flexibility, all critical for both academic success and personal growth. By combining play with customizable, goal-driven structure, Everybility’s board game bridges the gap between fun and functional skill development.
